Roos' objects consist of separate 'sticks' with thrown pots on top of them. Anima Roos considers the communicative aspect of pots important. Owing to their (mundane) practicality as well as their centuries-old ritual (spiritual) function, they remain an intimate part of daily life. She uses the technique of raku. In addition to her free forms, she also throws porcelain in functional shapes.
