Richard Price

After his education in England he continued his glass training in the glass department of the Gerrit Rietveld Academy, Amsterdam. From Lino Tagliapetri he learned the fine points of Venetian glass techniques.
He became well known for his cast objects. But he also blows vases and glasses. Sometimes he combines the two methods, which result in the lidded pots: the lid cast and the pot blown. He recently made large glasses that balance on a foot consisting of a complex, cast object.
This exhibitions shows, blown torso's and heads, decorated with fairy-like elements
